Dancing with the Octopus is a passionate, entertaining, 8-tentacled, multi-media project that takes a non-partisan look at getting more women into politics and leadership roles in Canada and abroad. "Tentacles" include OCTO LIVE - founder Sandy Mayzell coming and speaking to groups about why it's important to get involved, DANCING BACKWARDS - an eight week educational curriculum that gets women's political accomplishments into school social studies/history curriculum and involves student-created works (www.dancingbackwards.ca), a documentary film, and other works.
