OK Everyone - it's coming...a new tentacle is in the process of unfurling and getting a grip on 4 Victoria schools. Sound scary? Not at all.
It's called "Dancing Backwards: Let's Get Canada's Political Women into History!" Stories about women who helped shape Canada but are rarely mentioned in the history books will now have an online home. Student created content will form the guts of this rich resource for teachers and students alike.
Stay tuned...big campaign on its way!

Thanks to everyone who submitted. It was an honour to get a glimpse into your heads and hearts. We had no expectations - the entries were stunning - the international response makes us hungry for more communication with women worldwide.
The contest revealed that gender inequality is experienced everywhere. The unequivocal conclusion? There is a huge need to have this conversation. Dancing with the Octopus is happy to be a conduit to making the change so women everywhere can have an equal voice.
